1When is the best time to flying period?
We schedule flights early in the morning, seven days a week, year-round. However, ideal season is from mid-November to mid-March. This is the most pleasant time in Thailand with the maximum average of clear days.
2What about the safety?
The hot air balloon is a legally flying aircraft. Balloon Adventure Thailand has received approval for commercial flights and Standard Certification by the Department of Civil Aviation Thailand.
Balloon Adventure Thailand by Flying Media Co Ltd is only flying with very experienced and licensed pilots who logged hundreds of hours in flying passenger in hot air balloons. This your best guarantee for high safety standards and passenger satisfaction.
3Who can fly in balloon?
To fly in a balloon you must be at least 6 years of age, and we ask that our younger passengers (under 16 years of age) are accompanied by a responsible adult of 18 years or over. Passengers should be at least 140 cm. tall, so they can see over the edge of the basket and are able to adopt the landing position. There is no upper age limit.
4How long is the flight?
On average, flights are one hour in length. Some flights can go for up to one and a half hours depending on the amount of fuel on board; the passengers' combined weight and the temperature of the air.
5Where is the balloon landing area?
The exact landing area of the balloon cannot be accurately fixed, as the balloon will float with the wind. The pilot will decide when to land the balloon in a spot considered suitable and safe for the time frame. This is one of the charms and adventures of hot air balloon flying. As for the Doi Saket area, there are several landing spots, thus the passenger can be rest assured of safe landings.
